How it works
The inSis Alarm Management System functions by establishing a unified data layer above your existing control infrastructure. Using protocols and data exchange and integration mechanisms like OPC-DA, OPC-AE, OPC-UA, Ethernet / TCP-IP Communication, ODBC, SQL, File-based Interfaces and Web APIs, it ingests real-time data from various DCS, PLC, and SCADA sources into a centralized engine. This engine normalizes disparate signals and categorizes them by severity and asset type, providing a “single source of truth” across the entire enterprise.
Once integrated, the system applies advanced analytical algorithms and AI to filter out “noise,” such as chattering or fleeting alarms, to prevent operator fatigue. When a valid alarm is detected, inSis automatically triggers a response workflow—matching the event with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and dispatching instant notifications via WhatsApp, SMS, or Email. This ensures that every critical event is met with a documented, timely, and effective corrective action.
