L&T Power implements inSis EMS & ABT System

The ABT & Energy Management System is required for all Power Plants where the real-time energy consumption patterns are to be measured and monitored to minimise the consumption. inSis ABT & EMS System collects the vital energy consumption information from the energy meters, relays, RTUs etc., on a real-time basis.

It stores this information and provides to users in the form of Analytics, Trends, Dashboards, Reports, Alerts etc. Further, the Energy KPIs are calculated online and used for monitoring the Energy Efficiency of the Manufacturing Facility. The Energy Management System is based on the sophisticated inSis Suite. Further, the proposed EMS will communicate with energy meters to read and histories the real-time parameters and faults. inSis EMS forms as a central monitoring station for all the EMs for quick and easy monitoring and troubleshooting of the EMs.

The Availability-based Tariff (ABT) Monitoring is essential for Power Generation Plants for optimizing their production. The ABT System reads the real-time energy generation, consumption and Line export data. It then calculates the Increase or Decrease of the generation required to gain incentives and minimize the penalties. ABT Calculation provides the guidelines for operation for optimizing the Power Generation.
